1 print - 11.75” x 11.75” square (11 ¾” x 11 ¾”)
1 solid - 11.75” x 11.75” square (11 ¾” x 11 ¾”)
1 - Snap set (either sew-on or a snap-on from a snap kit will do)
Sewing machine
Stiletto (optional)
Frixion (or your preferred) marking pen (Dritz has a set that I hear is better for garments)
How-to:
-
Right sides together, pin, leaving a 2” opening (to turn), and stitch a quarter inch (¼”) seam.
-
Trim corners.
-
Turn & press.
-
Topstitch (ensure your opening is closed.)
-
Print side up, fold into a triangle.
-
Mark 5 cm up from the bottom point. (If you don’t have anything to measure cm, look at your measuring tape, the space between 1 ⅞” and 2” is approximately 5 cm)
-
Stitch a ¼” seam from the top down to that mark. Don’t forget to back stitch.
-
Turn, even the weird point.
-
Lay it with folded edge down and the seam to the right. From that seam, mark 10 cm. (The little space between 4 ⅞” & 5”.)
-
Using your marking implement, draw a line from that mark down to the bottom of the seam. It should be at an angle.
-
Stitch on that line. Remove your mark.
-
Now, flatten the fabric & press.
-
(Optional step) Tack down the small pocket.
-
Fold up the bottom point and tack down.
-
Add the snap fastener of your choice.
